Code of Conduct

Pharos Cruise is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for all attendees—whether guests, speakers, sponsors, crew, or staff. We expect all participants to behave in a respectful and professional manner throughout the entire event, both on board and at any Pharos-related activities or venues.

We welcome everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct of any kind will not be tolerated.

Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate in any part of the conference, including talks, panels, workshops, exhibit spaces, or social gatherings. Harassment includes (but is not limited to):

  • Verbal comments that reinforce systemic discrimination or stereotypes
  • Sexual images in public spaces
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
  • Harassing photography or recording
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention

If someone asks you to stop a behavior that makes them uncomfortable, you are expected to comply immediately.

Exhibitor and Sponsor Expectations

Exhibitors, sponsors, and booth staff must also abide by this Code of Conduct. This includes refraining from using sexualized images, clothing, activities, or any materials that may create an unwelcoming environment. All promotional content must maintain a professional tone consistent with the values of Pharos Cruise.

Consequences of Misconduct

Pharos Cruise organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to any violation of this policy, including warning the offender, expelling them from the event without refund, or involving security or law enforcement if necessary.

Reporting & Support

If you are being harassed, witness harassment, or have any concerns related to participant behavior, please notify a member of the Pharos Cruise staff immediately.

  • Our trained volunteers will be clearly identified by their staff credentials.

  • All volunteers are instructed to escalate concerns to team leads, who will work directly with onboard security, medical staff, or local authorities as required.
Security and Safety

Professional security personnel are stationed throughout the ship and conference spaces. They are trained to handle incidents respectfully and swiftly.

Final Note

All attendees are expected to uphold this Code of Conduct at every official Pharos Cruise venue and at all related events and experiences throughout the cruise.
