3. PAYMENT CARD INFORMATION
Pharos Cruise is designed not to store raw payment-card numbers or CVV data. Payment information is collected and tokenized by our PCI-compliant payment processor, Stripe. Where sensitive personal information is collected, such as certain accessibility or health-related requests, we will limit collection to what is reasonably necessary and apply appropriate safeguards.

We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes merely because they process it on our behalf.
We may use or disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
7. CRUISE-LINE AND GOVERNMENTAL DISCLOSURES
Cruise travel requires Passenger information to be provided to the cruise line and, where applicable, governmental and port authorities before sailing, during the voyage or after disembarkation. This may include identity, citizenship, passport/travel-document and security information. The receiving organization may process that information under its own legal obligations and privacy policy.
8. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We may use essential, performance, analytics and advertising cookies or similar technologies. Essential cookies may be required for account login, booking sessions, payment flow and fraud prevention. Non-essential technologies may be used for analytics, marketing measurement and advertising where permitted.
You may manage cookies using browser controls or any cookie-preference tool we provide. Disabling certain cookies may cause parts of the website or booking experience not to function correctly.
9. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Transactional communications about a reservation, payment, sailing, safety or required action are separate from optional marketing communications.
You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the unsubscribe link or another method we provide. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or legal communications concerning an active reservation.
10. AFFILIATE LINKS AND TRAVEL INSURANCE
Pharos Cruise may offer travel insurance or other services through affiliate relationships. If you follow an affiliate link or purchase a third-party product, the third party may collect information directly from you under its own privacy policy. We may receive referral or commission information, including whether a referral resulted in a purchase, where permitted.
11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Pharos Cruise may use providers or partners located outside The Bahamas, including in the United States or other countries connected with the sailing. Personal information may therefore be processed internationally. We will use reasonable contractual, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements.
12. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions, secure authentication, logging, backups and payment tokenization.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Guests also have a responsibility to protect passwords, booking references, devices and login credentials.
13. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including completing the Cruise, customer service, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance and enforcement of agreements.
Booking and financial records may be retained longer where required for audit, tax, contractual or legal reasons. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable retention policies.
14. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information held about you, request correction of inaccurate information and, in some circumstances, request deletion, restriction or objection to certain uses.
Under the Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act, 2003 of The Bahamas, qualifying individuals have statutory rights concerning personal data, including rights of access subject to the Act’s conditions and exceptions.
Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
15. CHILDREN
Children may be included as Guests on a Pharos Cruise reservation. Booking information for a minor must be provided by, or under the authority of, a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult on the reservation. We do not knowingly solicit reservations directly from children.
16. INFORMATION PROVIDED ABOUT OTHER GUESTS
If you provide information about another Guest, you represent that you are authorized to provide that information for booking purposes. Each Guest should ultimately review and complete their own required Passenger information where requested.
17. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
Our website may contain links to the cruise line, insurer, travel suppliers, social networks, payment services and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Pharos Cruise is not responsible for how an independent third party processes information collected directly by that third party.
18. EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO
Pharos Cruise may photograph, film or record public/event spaces for operational, archival, marketing and promotional purposes. Guests may appear incidentally in such materials. Where a separate release is appropriate for a featured interview, testimonial or specific commercial use, we may request additional consent.
19. SECURITY AND CONDUCT REPORTING
Where an incident concerns safety, harassment, misconduct, fraud, security or law enforcement, we may preserve and share relevant information with the cruise line, security personnel, insurers, legal advisers or governmental authorities as reasonably necessary.
20. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, vendors or legal obligations change. The current version will display its effective or last-updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
21. GOVERNING LAW
This Privacy Policy is intended to operate consistently with the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, including the Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act, 2003, while also respecting privacy obligations that may apply in jurisdictions where we offer services.

Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. PARTIES AND ACCEPTANCE
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern reservations for Pharos Cruise (“Pharos Cruise,” the “Event,” “Cruise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Pharos Cruise. Each guest listed on a reservation is a “Guest” or “Passenger.”
By making, paying toward, accepting, or participating in a reservation, each Guest agrees to these Terms, the Pharos Cruise Guest Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, applicable cruise-line passenger/ticket terms, and all safety, immigration, port, vessel and governmental requirements applicable to the sailing.
The Lead Guest represents that they are authorized to create the reservation and to provide booking information for the Guests included in it. Each paying Guest must separately accept applicable payment obligations and authorize their own payment method where financial responsibility is split.
2. NATURE OF PHAROS CRUISE
Pharos Cruise is a blockchain conference cruise combining professional programming, networking and cruise experiences. Conference sessions, speakers, entertainment, venues, itinerary, ports, schedules and activities may change. Admission to a particular session, venue, activity, speaker appearance or special event is not guaranteed where capacity, safety, operational or scheduling constraints apply.
Pharos Cruise arranges the event experience but does not operate or navigate the vessel. The cruise line retains authority over the vessel, crew, navigation, safety, security, embarkation, disembarkation, port calls and onboard operations. The final cruise-line passenger/ticket contract will govern matters within the cruise line’s control.
3. EVENT AND CABIN INVENTORY
The scheduled event is a four-night sailing aboard MSC Seaside, departing Miami for The Bahamas on November 15, 2027 and returning November 19, 2027. Ports, schedules and other sailing details remain subject to MSC Cruises operational changes.
Pharos Cruise currently sells cabin categories, not guaranteed cabin numbers. The cruise line will assign the cabin number within the booked category. Guests traveling with friends, colleagues or a larger group may identify the group in the booking notes. Pharos Cruise may request nearby cabin placement from the cruise line but cannot guarantee adjacent, connecting or nearby cabin assignments.
Full-ship cabin inventory is available to Pharos Cruise subject to operational holds, accessibility requirements, sponsor/VIP allocations and cruise-line restrictions.
4. AGE AND ELIGIBILITY
Youth fare: Guests who are 17 years old or younger at the time of sailing, booked as the 3rd and/or 4th guest in a cabin with two full-fare adults paying the double-occupancy rate, sail for $250 total per youth guest. This all-in fare includes taxes, port fees and prepaid service gratuities. Eligibility is calculated using the guest’s date of birth.
The Lead Guest must be at least 21 years old at the time of sailing. Children may sail with Pharos Cruise subject to the applicable cruise line’s age and guardian requirements. Guests under 18 may not attend Pharos conference sessions, conference networking events or any event designated 18+.
Guests must be legally eligible to travel, enter the countries on the itinerary and board the vessel. A Guest denied boarding because of age, documentation, immigration, legal, health, conduct or other Guest-specific reasons is treated as a Guest cancellation/no-show and is not entitled to a refund from Pharos Cruise.
5. PASSENGER INFORMATION
To successfully complete a reservation, each Passenger must provide:
(a) legal first name;
(b) legal last name;
(c) gender;
(d) date of birth exactly as it appears on the Passenger’s passport;
(e) mobile phone number;
(f) country of citizenship; and
(g) a valid and unique email address capable of receiving booking confirmations and transactional notices.
Pharos Cruise may require additional information needed by the cruise line, ports, immigration, customs, security, insurers or applicable law. Guest names and identifying information must match required travel documentation.
6. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A valid passport is required for Pharos Cruise unless Pharos Cruise later publishes a specific exception based on final cruise-line and governmental requirements. Each Guest is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying the required passport, visas, residency documentation, permits and other travel documents.
Failure to present acceptable documentation may result in denied boarding without refund or credit. Pharos Cruise is not responsible for advice received from third parties regarding a Guest’s immigration or documentation status.
7. CRUISE FARE AND WHAT IS INCLUDED
Published pricing is generally per person and based on cabin category, pricing tier and occupancy. Double, Triple and Quad fares are independent occupancy-specific prices; they are not derived by dividing one fixed cabin total among additional Guests.
The Pharos Cruise fare includes the following, subject to the booked category and cruise-line terms:
- applicable Pharos Cruise conference programming and activities, subject to capacity and operational limits;
- stateroom accommodation in the booked category;
- complimentary dining and standard ship amenities made available by the cruise line;
- government and port taxes and fees, included within the combined US$350 allocation for taxes, fees and prepaid gratuities for each standard full-fare Guest (the separate all-in youth fare is governed by Section 4); and
- prepaid service gratuities, included in that same allocation for standard full-fare Guests and within the separate all-in youth fare for eligible youth Guests.
Wi-Fi and alcoholic beverages are not included in standard cabin fares. MSC Yacht Club fares include Wi-Fi and the beverages provided under the applicable Yacht Club package, subject to MSC Cruises package terms. Packages may be offered as Pharos Cruise add-ons or purchased directly from the cruise line, subject to availability and cruise-line terms.
Specialty dining, beverages not included in the booked cabin category or package, premium non-alcoholic beverages where chargeable, shore excursions, spa/salon services, casino gaming, shopping, laundry, medical care, airfare, hotels, ground transportation, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included unless expressly stated.
8. PRICING TIERS AND RATE LOCK
Pharos Cruise may offer multiple pricing tiers based on time and category-level inventory. A tier may close when its date window ends or its allocated inventory sells out, whichever occurs first. Different cabin categories may advance tiers at different times.
A booking’s pricing tier is locked only when all deposits required to secure that booking have been successfully paid within the required time. A quote, cart, temporary hold or partial deposit does not guarantee a rate beyond its stated validity.
Once properly secured, the booked tier is preserved for occupancy repricing within the same cabin category. A canceled reservation that is later rebooked is a new reservation and uses pricing available at the time of rebooking.
9. OCCUPANCY AND FARE CHANGES
Single occupancy is available across all cabin categories, but inventory is limited and not every cabin in a category will be offered for single occupancy. Guests should select one traveler during booking to view currently available single-occupancy inventory and rates.
If occupancy changes after booking, all Guests in that cabin may be repriced using the applicable occupancy fare for the reservation, provided the cabin remains in the same category. If the Guest upgrades to a different cabin category, the new category will be priced at the currently available rate for that category when the upgrade is processed.
10. DEPOSITS
Standard deposits are assessed per person by cabin category: Interior US$150; Ocean View US$150; Balcony US$250; Suite US$250; Yacht Club Suite US$500.
Pharos Cruise may offer temporary promotional or reduced-deposit offers. When a promotion is active, the deposit amount displayed in the booking system at checkout controls that transaction. Promotional deposit reductions do not change the published standard deposit schedule.
Deposits are applied toward the reservation balance and are non-refundable except where expressly provided in these Terms or required by applicable law.
11. PAYMENT OPTIONS AND INSTALLMENTS
Where available, a Guest may pay in full or use a deposit plus automatic installments.
Automatic installments are scheduled for the 28th of each applicable month through the final payment deadline. The payment schedule and applicable installment amounts are displayed at booking and may be adjusted when the reservation balance changes.
The current final payment deadline is 30 September 2027 and is subject to change if the sailing or cruise-line requirements change.
For late bookings before the final payment deadline, Pharos Cruise may require at least 50% of the total amount due at booking. On or after the final payment deadline, 100% is due at booking.
12. SPLIT FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Lead Guest may choose either:
(a) Lead Guest pays the entire reservation; or
(b) each Guest pays their own assigned share.
Each Guest with financial responsibility must securely authorize their own payment method. Pharos Cruise will not store raw card numbers or CVV information.
A failed payment by one Guest will not automatically be charged to another Guest’s card unless that person expressly authorized the charge. The Lead Guest remains responsible for coordinating the reservation and ensuring that all required Guest deposits are paid within 48 hours so the cabin can be secured.
Extra payments may be assigned to one or more specific Guests. The payer must select or authorize the Guest balance(s) to which the payment will apply. Payments already made remain attributable to the original payer in the financial ledger.
13. FAILED PAYMENTS, RETRIES AND DELINQUENCY
When an automatic payment fails, Pharos Cruise will attempt up to three retries:
- first retry: approximately 24 hours after the failed payment;
- second retry: approximately 48 hours after the failed payment; and
- third retry: approximately 72 hours after the failed payment.
If the scheduled payment remains unpaid 7 days after its original due date, a US$25 late fee will be added to the responsible Guest’s balance as a separate charge. After the 72-hour retry period, the Guest continues to have the remaining cure period through day 14 to correct the payment issue before the reservation becomes subject to cancellation.
If the outstanding payment remains unresolved 14 days after the original failed due date, the affected Guest and/or reservation is subject to cancellation, repricing, occupancy adjustment or other action permitted by these Terms. Pharos Cruise may notify the Lead Guest of reservation-level risk without disclosing another Guest’s protected payment-card information.
14. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable. For Guest-initiated cancellations, payments made after the deposit are refundable according to the following schedule, measured from the scheduled sailing date:
- 9 months or more before sailing — 75% of payments made after the deposit are refundable.
- 6–8 months before sailing — 50% of payments made after the deposit are refundable.
- 3–5 months before sailing — 25% of payments made after the deposit are refundable.
- Less than 3 months before sailing — payments are non-refundable.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Third-party travel products, insurance, airfare, hotels and other independently purchased services remain subject to their own cancellation terms.
15. GUEST CANCELLATION WITHIN A SHARED CABIN
A Guest canceling from a shared cabin does not automatically cancel the entire cabin. The remaining Guests may:
- replace the canceling Guest, subject to applicable name-change rules and cruise-line deadlines;
- accept occupancy repricing using the booking’s locked tier if the cabin remains in the same category; or
- cancel the reservation under the Pharos cancellation policy. Deposits are non-refundable; subsequent payments follow the published cancellation schedule.
Amounts already paid by the canceling Guest are not automatically refunded. Where a replacement Guest is accepted, the financial treatment of prior payments will be handled through an auditable transfer/refund/reallocation workflow and may be subject to administrative or cruise-line change fees disclosed before the change is confirmed.
Guests must form their own cabin groups. Pharos Cruise does not promise to match unrelated Guests into shared cabins as part of the standard booking product.
16. NAME CHANGES AND GUEST REPLACEMENTS
Name changes and guest replacements must be requested by the Lead Guest and remain subject to cruise-line approval, security and manifest requirements. The Lead Guest must remain on the reservation.
Administrative fees apply per guest change:
- 6 months or more before sailing — US$25
- 3–5 months before sailing — US$50
- Less than 3 months before sailing — US$100 and subject to approval
Reducing cabin occupancy may cause the reservation to be repriced at the applicable occupancy rate. Any fare difference, outstanding balance or other amount due must be resolved before a change is processed.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. All name-change requests must be submitted using the Pharos Name Change Form.
17. NO-SHOWS AND MISSED EMBARKATION
A Guest who does not board by the required embarkation time is a no-show. No refund or credit is due for a no-show, missed flight, transportation delay, documentation failure, fear of travel, travel advisory, personal emergency, unused service or early departure.
18. ITINERARY, PROGRAMMING AND EVENT CHANGES
Ports, itinerary, vessel, speakers, sessions, entertainment, venues, schedules and activities may be changed, substituted, postponed or canceled due to operational needs, weather, safety, governmental action, force majeure, speaker availability or other circumstances.
A change to an individual speaker, session, activity, port or schedule does not constitute cancellation of Pharos Cruise and does not create a refund right.
If Pharos Cruise is completely canceled by Pharos Cruise and/or the cruise line and is not rescheduled, Guests will be entitled to a refund of amounts paid directly to Pharos Cruise for the cabin fare, prepaid cruise-line gratuities, related government/port taxes and fees, and Pharos Cruise add-ons that are canceled and not provided, less any amounts that applicable law permits to remain non-refundable. Third-party travel insurance, airfare, hotels, transportation and other separately purchased products remain subject to the third party’s own cancellation rules. If the Cruise is partially canceled, any refund will be limited to the proportionate value of the canceled Pharos Cruise component where applicable. A postponement or rescheduling does not automatically constitute a cancellation or create an automatic refund right.
19. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is not included in the Pharos Cruise fare. Guests may arrange coverage independently through an insurance provider of their choice. Insurance is optional unless a later written rule makes it mandatory for a specific Guest class or sailing.
The policy is a contract between the Guest and insurer. Pharos Cruise does not underwrite coverage, determine claims or guarantee reimbursement. Guests are responsible for ensuring their policy covers the full non-refundable trip cost and updating coverage if their trip cost changes.
20. GUEST CONDUCT AND SAFETY
Each Guest must comply with the Pharos Cruise Guest Code of Conduct, the cruise line’s guest conduct rules, instructions from the Master and crew, applicable law, port rules and reasonable instructions from Pharos Cruise staff.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, unwanted physical contact, theft, vandalism, dangerous behavior, illegal substances, weapons, tampering with safety equipment, unauthorized access to restricted areas and other conduct that threatens people, property or the Event are prohibited.
Serious or repeated misconduct may result in removal from an activity, cancellation of event credentials, confinement or disembarkation by the cruise line, denial of reboarding, cancellation of the reservation and referral to law enforcement. No refund is due where participation is ended because of a Guest’s misconduct.
21. ALCOHOL, SMOKING AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
Alcohol is not included in the Pharos Cruise fare. Guests purchasing alcohol must comply with MSC Cruises’ alcohol policy and applicable law. For North American sailings, the current MSC conduct policy states a minimum drinking age of 21. Ship staff may refuse service to Guests who do not consume responsibly.
Smoking is permitted only in areas designated by the cruise line. Smoking in staterooms, on balconies or other prohibited areas may result in cruise-line charges and sanctions. Marijuana and illegal drugs are prohibited in accordance with cruise-line policy and applicable law.
Weapons, explosives and dangerous items are prohibited.
22. HEALTH, MEDICAL CARE AND ACCESSIBILITY
Guests are responsible for determining whether they are medically fit to travel and for arranging necessary medication, insurance and care. Onboard medical services are provided under cruise-line arrangements and may involve additional charges.
Accessibility requests should be disclosed as early as possible. Pharos Cruise will work with the cruise line to communicate reasonable requests but cannot guarantee an accommodation not available or approved by the vessel operator.
23. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND SHORE ACTIVITIES
Services supplied by the cruise line, airlines, hotels, ground transportation companies, excursion operators, insurers and other independent providers are subject to those providers’ terms. Pharos Cruise is not the operator of those independent services and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, delays or service failures except to the extent required by applicable law.
24. PHOTOGRAPHY, RECORDING AND MEDIA
Pharos Cruise may photograph, film or record public and event areas for event documentation, security, marketing and promotional purposes. Guests may appear incidentally in such content. Any separate release required for featured interviews, testimonials or commercial shoots will be obtained where appropriate.
Guests may not use recordings in a way that violates another Guest’s privacy, harasses a participant, infringes intellectual property or interferes with conference sessions or cruise-line operations.
25. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Pharos Cruise names, logos, branding, event materials, session content and related intellectual property are protected by applicable law and may not be commercially reproduced, sold or misrepresented without permission. Speaker-owned content remains subject to the speaker’s rights and any permissions granted to Pharos Cruise.
26. PRIVACY
Personal information is handled according to the Pharos Cruise Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with the cruise line, payment providers, travel suppliers, service providers, governmental authorities and other parties as reasonably necessary to operate the reservation, process payments, satisfy security/immigration obligations and deliver the Event.
27. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pharos Cruise is not responsible for indirect, consequential, exemplary or punitive losses arising from travel delays, missed transportation, supplier failures, itinerary changes, lost opportunities, personal property loss or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any cruise-line rights, liability limitations, venue provisions or passenger-contract obligations applicable directly between the Guest and cruise line remain governed by the cruise-line contract.
28. FORCE MAJEURE
Pharos Cruise will not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, hurricanes, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, epidemic/pandemic restrictions, governmental action, port closure, vessel damage, mechanical failure, labor disputes, transportation disruption, supplier failure or safety/security conditions.
29. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS AND RECORDS
Guests consent to receiving booking confirmations, payment notices, operational updates, legal notices and other transactional communications electronically. Guests must maintain a valid unique email address and current mobile number.
Electronic acceptance, records, notices and signatures may be used to the extent permitted by applicable law.
30. GOVERNING LAW AND EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION
These Terms, and any dispute between a Guest and Pharos Cruise arising from or connected with Pharos Cruise, shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any claim, action or adjudication against Pharos Cruise arising from these Terms or the Event must be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, and each Guest submits to that exclusive jurisdiction and venue.
This clause does not purport to alter a separate cruise-line passenger contract provision governing claims made directly against the cruise line or vessel interests.
31. SEVERABILITY, CHANGES AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Pharos Cruise may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes affecting an existing paid reservation will be handled consistently with applicable law, the booking’s preserved rate/payment records and any contractual rights already accrued.
These Terms, the booking confirmation, applicable pricing/payment rules, Guest Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy and incorporated cruise-line terms form the agreement governing the reservation.

Code of Conduct
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. PURPOSE
Pharos Cruise is intended to be a professional, welcoming and safe environment where Guests can learn, network and enjoy the cruise experience. Every Guest is expected to behave responsibly and with respect for other Guests, speakers, sponsors, staff, crew members, vendors, port personnel and local communities.
This Code applies during embarkation and disembarkation, onboard the vessel, at Pharos Cruise events, in terminals, on Pharos-organized transfers or excursions, at private destinations and at other official Pharos Cruise activities.
2. COMPLIANCE WITH CRUISE-LINE RULES
All Guests must comply with:
- this Pharos Cruise Guest Code of Conduct;
- MSC Cruises’ Guest Conduct Policy and passenger/ticket terms;
- lawful instructions from the vessel’s Master, officers, security personnel and crew;
- instructions from Pharos Cruise event staff; and
- applicable laws, port rules and local regulations.
Where the cruise line imposes a stricter safety or conduct rule, the cruise-line rule controls onboard.
3. RESPECTFUL AND PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR
Guests must treat others with dignity and respect. The following are prohibited:
- harassment, intimidation or bullying;
- discrimination or degrading conduct based on race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion or other protected characteristic;
- sexual harassment, unwanted sexual attention or unwanted physical contact;
- abusive, threatening, offensive or discriminatory language directed at Guests, staff, speakers, crew or others;
- stalking or persistent unwanted contact;
- deliberate disruption of conference sessions or official activities; and
- retaliation against a person who raises a good-faith safety or conduct concern.
Professional disagreement, debate and criticism are permitted. Personal abuse, threats and targeted harassment are not.
4. VIOLENCE, THREATS AND AGGRESSIVE CONDUCT
Pharos Cruise has zero tolerance for violence and credible threats of violence.
Prohibited behavior includes assault, fighting, physical intimidation, aggressive invasion of another person’s space, threatening gestures, threats communicated verbally or electronically, throwing objects at another person and encouraging violence.
Serious threats or violence may result in immediate intervention by ship security, removal from an event, disembarkation, law-enforcement referral and cancellation of the Guest’s reservation without refund.
5. SEXUAL MISCONDUCT
Sexual assault, sexual violence, unwanted touching, coercion, non-consensual sexual conduct and sexual harassment are strictly prohibited.
Consent must be freely given, informed, specific and capable of being withdrawn at any time. A person who is incapacitated by alcohol, drugs, sleep or another condition cannot provide meaningful consent.
Guests should immediately contact ship security, Guest Services or Pharos Cruise staff if they experience or witness conduct that creates an immediate safety concern.
6. ALCOHOL
Alcoholic beverages are not included in the standard Pharos Cruise fare. Guests may purchase alcohol through the cruise line or an approved package where available.
Guests who consume alcohol must do so responsibly. Ship staff may refuse alcohol service at their discretion. Drinking games are prohibited under MSC’s current Guest Conduct Policy.
For MSC sailings departing North America, the current minimum age to drink or possess alcohol onboard is 21. Guests must comply with the applicable age rules for the sailing and ports visited.
Providing alcohol to a person who is not legally permitted to consume it is prohibited.
Intoxication does not excuse misconduct, harassment, violence, property damage or unsafe behavior.
7. ILLEGAL DRUGS AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
Possession, use, distribution or trafficking of illegal drugs is prohibited. Marijuana, including medical marijuana, is prohibited onboard under MSC’s current policy.
Guests are also responsible for complying with the laws of each jurisdiction visited. Items lawful in one country or state may be prohibited onboard or in another port.
8. SMOKING AND VAPING
Smoking is allowed only in areas specifically designated by the cruise line. Smoking in staterooms, on stateroom balconies or in other non-designated areas is prohibited.
Vaping and e-cigarette use are subject to the cruise line’s rules and the laws of ports visited. Guests are responsible for confirming restrictions before taking such devices ashore.
9. WEAPONS AND DANGEROUS ITEMS
Weapons, ammunition, explosives and other items presenting a risk of harm to persons or property are prohibited onboard unless expressly permitted by the cruise line and law.
Security personnel may confiscate prohibited items and refer matters to law enforcement.
10. UNSAFE BEHAVIOR
Guests must not engage in conduct that creates unreasonable danger to themselves or others, including:
- climbing, sitting, standing or lying on railings or protective barriers;
- tampering with safety equipment, alarms, firefighting systems or other vessel systems;
- throwing objects overboard;
- entering restricted, crew-only or unauthorized areas;
- interfering with ship operations, security procedures or emergency instructions;
- reckless behavior around pools, decks, stairways or other hazardous areas; or
- encouraging another Guest to perform a dangerous act.
11. PROPERTY, THEFT AND VANDALISM
Theft, attempted theft, intentional property damage and vandalism are prohibited.
Guests may be financially responsible for damage they cause to the ship, conference property, accommodation, equipment or another person’s property, in addition to any cruise-line charges or legal consequences.
12. CREW AND STAFF BOUNDARIES
Guests must respect professional boundaries with ship crew and Pharos Cruise staff. Guests may not enter crew-only areas or crew accommodation.
Harassment, intimidation, threats or inappropriate conduct toward crew, event staff or contractors will be treated in the same manner as misconduct directed toward another Guest.
13. CONFERENCE SESSIONS AND NETWORKING
Guests should help preserve a professional conference environment. During sessions and official activities:
- follow venue capacity and seating instructions;
- do not obstruct aisles, exits or safety routes;
- silence devices when requested;
- do not intentionally disrupt speakers or sessions;
- respect intellectual property and recording restrictions announced by speakers or organizers; and
- follow staff instructions concerning credentials, reservations or restricted spaces.
Networking must remain voluntary. Repeated unwanted solicitation, intrusive sales behavior or continued pursuit after a person has clearly declined further engagement may be treated as misconduct.
14. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND PRIVACY
Reasonable personal photography and video are permitted where allowed by the cruise line and Pharos Cruise, but Guests must respect the privacy and dignity of others.
Do not photograph or record a person in a private setting, in a manner intended to harass or embarrass them, or after they have reasonably asked you to stop where privacy should be expected.
Do not record confidential or restricted conference content when recording is prohibited.
15. LOCAL LAWS AND PORT CONDUCT
When ashore, Guests must comply with the laws and customs of the destination. A Guest arrested, detained or prevented from reboarding because of their conduct is responsible for their own legal, transportation, accommodation and related expenses.
Pharos Cruise is not responsible for obtaining release from detention or arranging return transportation for a Guest who misses the ship.
16. REPORTING CONCERNS
Guests should report urgent safety concerns immediately to MSC Cruises security, Guest Services or emergency personnel onboard.
Concerns related to Pharos Cruise programming, harassment, discrimination or event conduct may also be reported to designated Pharos Cruise staff through the reporting channel published before sailing.
Reports will be handled as discreetly as reasonably possible, but information may be shared with ship security, management, legal advisers or authorities where needed to investigate, protect safety or comply with law.
17. INVESTIGATIONS
Pharos Cruise and the cruise line may investigate alleged misconduct. Guests are expected to cooperate honestly with reasonable safety or conduct investigations.
An investigation may include reviewing witness accounts, security reports, booking records, access records and other relevant information lawfully available to the organizers or cruise line.
18. CONSEQUENCES
Depending on severity, context and cruise-line authority, consequences may include:
- verbal or written warning;
- removal from a conference session, activity or venue;
- restriction or cancellation of Pharos Cruise credentials;
- removal from a networking or sponsor activity;
- security intervention;
- restriction to a stateroom or other action by the cruise line;
- disembarkation or denial of reboarding;
- cancellation of the reservation;
- financial responsibility for damage or fees; and
- referral to law enforcement or other authorities.
A Guest removed or disembarked because of misconduct is not entitled to a refund or future cruise credit from Pharos Cruise.
19. NON-RETALIATION
Pharos Cruise prohibits retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report of harassment, discrimination, violence, safety concerns or other misconduct, or who participates honestly in an investigation.
Knowingly false or malicious reports may themselves constitute misconduct.
20. FINAL AUTHORITY ONBOARD
The Master of the vessel and authorized cruise-line personnel retain final authority concerning vessel safety, security, discipline, embarkation, disembarkation and navigation.
Nothing in this Code limits MSC Cruises’ authority to take action under its own Guest Conduct Policy or passenger contract.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
2. GUEST CANCELLATION WITHIN A SHARED CABIN
A Guest canceling from a shared cabin does not automatically cancel the entire cabin. The remaining Guests may:
- replace the canceling Guest, subject to applicable name-change rules and cruise-line deadlines;

Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. About This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Pharos Cruise (“Pharos Cruise,” “we,” “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit pharoscruise.com, use associated booking pages, access your account or interact with other online services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Website”).
This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy concerning cookies or similar technologies, this Cookie Policy will apply to those technologies.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, phone or other device when you visit a website. Cookies may be set by Pharos Cruise as first-party cookies or by service providers as third-party cookies.
We may also use similar technologies such as browser local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and software development tools. These technologies can remember choices, maintain a booking session, support account access, measure website activity or help us understand whether a referral or campaign resulted in a booking.
Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiration date or until you delete them.
3. How We Use These Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
operate the Website, booking process, account dashboard and checkout;
protect the Website, prevent misuse and support authentication;
remember booking selections, cart contents and consent preferences;
understand Website performance plus how visitors navigate our pages;
measure marketing activity or eligible affiliate referrals;
support payment processing plus other services requested by you.
4. Types of Cookies We May Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These technologies are required for core Website functions such as security, account authentication, booking sessions, cart management, checkout plus saving your privacy choices. Because the Website cannot operate properly without them, they are generally active by default.
Functional Cookies
These optional cookies remember preferences or enable enhanced Website features. If disabled, some non-essential features may not work as intended.
Analytics Cookies
These optional cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website, which pages are visited plus whether errors occur. We use this information to improve performance, content and usability. Analytics cookies require consent before activation where applicable law requires it.
Marketing and Referral Cookies
These optional cookies help measure campaigns, recognize eligible affiliate referrals or understand how visitors reached the Website. They may connect a referral link click with a later booking during the applicable tracking period. These cookies require consent before activation where applicable law requires it.
5. Cookies and Storage Currently Identified
The following technologies have been identified from the current WordPress, WooCommerce plus Pharos Cruise booking-engine configuration. The cookies and technologies used on this Website may change when plugins, integrations or site settings are updated.
woocommerce_cart_hash — Session. Helps WooCommerce determine when cart contents or data change.
woocommerce_items_in_cart — Session. Helps WooCommerce determine when cart contents or data change.
wp_woocommerce_session_[hash] — Two days under the standard WooCommerce configuration. Connects a visitor with cart data stored by WooCommerce.
wordpress_logged_in_[hash] plus related WordPress authentication cookies — Session or persistent depending on login choices and site configuration. Supports secure account authentication.
wordpress_test_cookie — Session. Checks whether the visitor’s browser accepts cookies.
pharos_affiliate_ref — Current default: 30 days. Stores a signed first-party referral record so an eligible booking can be attributed to an approved affiliate. The tracking period can be changed in Pharos Cruise program settings.
pharos_affiliate_visit — One year. Stores a randomly generated first-party visit identifier used to distinguish unique affiliate-link visits.
pharos-booking-selection-v027 — Browser session storage rather than a cookie. Temporarily remembers booking selections during the booking flow.
Cookie preference record — Used to remember your cookie choices when a consent-management platform is enabled; retention details will be displayed in Cookie Preferences.
6. Third-Party Services
Some Website functions may be provided by third parties such as payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, embedded-content providers, email providers or security services. These providers may place or read cookies subject to their own policies.
A payment provider may use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate a transaction, prevent fraud or complete checkout. Optional analytics, advertising or embedded-media cookies should be listed in the Cookie Preferences panel before they are activated where consent is required.
Pharos Cruise does not control every cookie placed directly by a third party. We select service providers with care plus require them to process information in accordance with applicable agreements and law.
7. Your Cookie Choices
When the Cookie Preferences panel is available, you can:
accept all optional cookies;
reject non-essential cookies;
select individual cookie categories;
change or withdraw your choices later through the Cookie Preferences link on the Website.
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through our preference tool because they support services you request. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may prevent account access, booking, checkout or other Website functions from working correctly.
Where applicable law requires consent, we will request a clear affirmative choice before setting non-essential cookies. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
8. Retention
Cookie retention depends on the purpose of the technology. Session cookies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain for the period described in this policy or the Cookie Preferences panel unless you delete them sooner. We will review retention periods periodically plus remove cookies that are no longer necessary.
9. Personal Information
Information collected through cookies may include a device or browser identifier, IP address, referral source, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, account-session information or transaction-related signals. Some of this information may be personal information when it identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual or household.
For details about how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information plus the rights that may be available to you, please review the Pharos Cruise Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, service providers, legal requirements or business practices change. The updated version will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date. Where required, we will request fresh consent for material changes to optional cookies.
